How to book

From request to set table

One form, one proposal, then a confirmed booking. No account needed and no deposit to send a request.

The flow

Four steps

  1. Send your dates

The booking form takes two minutes: dates, guests, the menu you have in mind, and anything Jen should know about allergies, the occasion or the villa area.

  2. Get Jen’s proposal

You hear back the same day, usually within a couple of hours, with availability, menu suggestions and the exact total: chef service plus menu × guests.

  3. Confirm

Lock the dates and adjust the dishes. Payment is settled directly with Jen once the proposal is agreed. You receive the details with your confirmation.

  4. Sit down

Jen arrives with the groceries, cooks, serves, and leaves the kitchen clean.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a private chef cost in St Barts?

With Jen, pricing is simple and public: a chef service rate (breakfast €300, lunch €400, dinner €450 or full day €800) plus a menu priced per person, from €95 (Mexican) to €200 (Surf & Turf Signature). Example: dinner for 6 with the Caribbean BBQ menu is €450 + €120 × 6 = €1,320. The service rate covers shopping, cooking and cleaning.

What does the chef service rate include?

The groceries run, the cooking, the service, and a kitchen left spotless. Menus are charged per person on top of the service rate. You are never billed for surprises: the proposal you confirm is the price you pay.

Can menus be adapted to allergies and diets?

Yes. Note allergies or diets in the booking form and Jen adapts the menu. There are dedicated Kosher and Vegetarian menus, and every other menu can be adapted for gluten-free, pescatarian or child-friendly tables.

Which areas of the island do you serve?

All of St Barts: Gustavia, St Jean, Flamands, Gouverneur, Saline, Lorient, Pointe Milou, Colombier. Jen also cooks in St Martin.

Do you cook for weddings and events?

Yes: wedding dinners, birthdays, celebrations, and full villa weeks with breakfast, lunch and dinner. For larger events, send the date and guest count early and Jen will confirm what is possible.

What about the festive season, Christmas and New Year?

Festive season rates (Christmas and New Year) increase by 30%, and those weeks book out first. If your dates fall in late December, send your request as early as you can.

How far in advance should I book?

High season in St Barts runs December to April and good dates go fast. A few weeks ahead is comfortable, and the festive weeks should be booked months in advance. Last-minute requests are still worth sending: if Jen is free, she will tell you within hours.

Can Jen cook on a boat or for a picnic instead of a villa?

Jen mostly cooks in villas. Other setups can work depending on the kitchen on board or on site. Describe your plan in the booking notes and Jen will confirm what is feasible for your dates.

What does Jen need from the villa kitchen?

A standard villa kitchen is enough. Jen arrives with the groceries and her own knives. Mention your villa name or area in the request; if anything about the kitchen is unusual, she will flag it before you confirm.
